Jackson & Gobo goes to the basketball game

Story 1: Jackson & Gobo’s bedroom apartment

Jackson and Gobo were so excited to go to the basketball game at the basketball stadium!  They’ll wear their red and white basketball uniforms at the basketball game.  Over there, they’ll score lots of points by dribbling/shooting the basketball into the hoop on their same team.  After the basketball game, they’ll go out to Starbucks to buy some drinks for a treat.  Jackson and Gobo were inside their bedroom preparing to wear their basketball uniforms for the basketball game while their pet cat (Robbie) chilled on his cat bed playing with his cat toys.

“Oh boy!  I’m super excited to go to the basketball game with you, Gobo!” cheered Jackson.

“Me too Jackson!  I can’t wait to score lots of points at the basketball game!” beamed Gobo.

“Me either!  After the basketball game, should we buy some drinks at Starbucks?” asked Jackson.

“Of course we could buy some Starbucks drinks!  What drinks shall we buy?” asked Gobo.

“That is an excellent question!  What if we buy some Summer drinks at Starbucks!” said Jackson.

“That’s a great idea!  I’ll have to try an orange cream frappuccino there!” said Gobo.

“I think that’ll be a perfect choice, Gobo!” said Jackson.

“Yup!  Shall we take a mirror selfie together?” asked Gobo.

“Heck yeah!  Let’s do it!” smiled Jackson.

Jackson and Gobo took a mirror selfie on Jackson’s phone.

“Say, are you ready to drive to the basketball stadium for our basketball game?” asked Jackson.

“Yeah Jackson!  Let’s go!” grinned Gobo.

Jackson and Gobo petted Robbie while they greeted him.

“Bye Robbie!  We’re heading to the basketball game now!” greeted Jackson.

“We’ll see you later!” greeted Gobo.

“Meow meow!” purred Robbie.

Story 2: Driving to the basketball stadium

Jackson and Gobo were in Jackson’s green and blue electric convertible car driving to the basketball stadium while they listened to some Dance Pop Music on Jackson’s phone.  Gobo sat next to Jackson on the front row seat.

“Hey Gobo?” asked Jackson.

“Yes Jackson?” asked Gobo.

“I have a question for you!” said Jackson.

“Sure!  What’s your question?” asked Gobo.

“When we get to the basketball game, shall we meet some new friends that we like/who are friendly/have the same interests as us?” asked Jackson.

“You know, it would be nice to meet some new friends that we like/who are friendly/have the same interests as us when we get to the basketball game!” said Gobo.

“And we could ask one of our new friends to exchange our phone numbers/create our plans/schedules to get together after we meet them!” said Jackson.

Gobo felt confused.  “Are you sure about this, Jackson?  I don’t think it would be a good idea to ask some new friends to exchange our phone numbers/create our plans/schedules to get together after meeting them!”

“What do you mean, Gobo?” asked Jackson.

“Well uhm…what if someone sends you something inappropriate on your text, be rude by swearing/cussing at you, and ends up getting physically/sexually assaulted by a new person you met at the basketball game while exchanging your phone number/creating your plans/schedules to get together with somebody you met?” worried Gobo.

Jackson puts his hand on Gobo’s shoulder.

“But Gobo, nobody will do any of that inappropriate stuff at the basketball game.  Besides, you will enjoy meeting some new people who are nice/friendly and have the same interests as us while we play basketball!” said Jackson.

“That would be great, Jackson!  When we get to the basketball stadium, let’s try to wait for at least a couple weeks to ask some new friends to exchange phone numbers/create our plans/schedules to get together after meeting/getting to know them!” said Gobo.

“I think that’ll do it!  We could at least strike some conversations with some new friends while we play basketball!” said Jackson.

“That could work too!” said Gobo.

Jackson stopped at the red traffic light while Gobo saw a huge white heron by the lake.

“Hey Jackson, check out this white heron!” said Gobo.

“Wow!  That is a huge heron!  I wonder what he’s doing by the lake!” said Jackson.

“He’s just chilling by the lake looking for his dinner!” said Gobo.

“He’s probably hungry though!” said Jackson.

Gobo took a photo of a huge white heron on his phone.

“That is a cute heron!” said Gobo.

“Yeah!  He’s pretty sweet!” said Jackson.

Jackson drove by the green traffic light while Gobo waved to the heron.

“Bye bye heron!  Enjoy your dinner!” greeted Gobo.

“Gee!  I bet the heron really likes you!” said Jackson.

“He sure does!” said Gobo.

Jackson and Gobo kept driving on the road to get to the basketball stadium.

Story 3: The basketball stadium

When the boys got to the basketball stadium, Jackson and Gobo arm linked each other and headed over to meet some new friends.

“Gosh!  That’s a cool basketball stadium!” said Gobo.

“Sure was!  What if we meet some two new friends we like that are friendly/nice and have the same interests as us!” said Jackson.

“Let’s meet them, eh!” said Gobo.

Then, the two friendly boys (Bradley and Jacob) went over to meet Jackson and Gobo.

“Hi there boys!” greeted Bradley.

“Hello there!” greeted Jacob.

“Hi!” greeted Gobo.

“What’s up!” greeted Jackson.

“How are you today?” asked Bradley.

“We’re doing pretty good!” said Gobo.

Jackson, Gobo, Bradley, and Jacob introduced each other by shaking hands together.

“My name is Bradley!” introduced Bradley.

“And my name is Jacob!” introduced Jacob.

“It’s nice to meet you!  My name is Jackson!” introduced Jackson.

“And my name is Gobo!” introduced Gobo.

Jackson and Gobo hung their arms around each other as buddies.

“We are BFFs!” sang Jackson and Gobo.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you guys!” said Jacob.

“Anyhow, are you for our basketball game?” asked Bradley.

“Yeah!  We’re ready!” cheered Jackson.

“Oh yeah!  Me too!” beamed Jacob.

“Before we start the game, I need to use the restroom real quick!  I’ll be right back!” said Gobo.

“Okay Gobo!  We’ll wait for you!” said Jackson.

Gobo headed to use the restroom while Jackson, Bradley, and Jacob waited for him by striking conversations with each other.

“So uhm…who do you boys live with?” asked Jackson.

“Jacob and I actually lived with each other in our condo in the valley right close to you!” said Bradley.

“Really?  I didn’t know you two have a condo close to our apartment right up the valley!  How cool!” said Jackson.

“Yup!  We have 2 beds and 1 bathroom inside our bedroom, a living room with a TV, our computer rooms, a kitchen, and a dining room!” said Jacob.

“That’s awesome!  My buddy (Gobo) and I lived with each other in our apartment!  We have a pet black and white cat named Robbie!  He’s really nice and friendly!” said Jackson.

“It’s amazing that you and your best friend (Gobo) have a pet cat (Robbie) in your apartment!” said Bradley.

“What do you and Gobo do with him?” asked Jacob.

“Well, we took good care of Robbie by giving him baths, brushing his fur, feeding him treats, playing with him, and we even…” paused Jackson.

Meanwhile, a mean Chinese boy (Evan) barged in by bullying Jackson/interrupting his conversations while he was touching him.

“HEY…PIZZA FACE!” shouted Evan.

“AAAHHHH!!!!!!!!” startled Jackson.

“What do you think you’re doing here?” teased Evan.

Jackson felt shocked.  “Don’t call me pizza face!  It hurts my feelings when you do that!  Who are you anyways?”

“Evan!  Are you gonna win or what?” teased Evan.

“Dude, we’re in the middle of hanging out together!” agitated Bradley.

“You literally just barged in and interrupted our conversations!” flustered Jacob.

“Could you please leave us alone while we hangout?” annoyed Jackson.

“I wanna hangout too!” teased Evan.

Jackson, Bradley, and Jacob gasped in horror while Evan behaved terribly rude to them.  Then, Gobo came out of the bathroom and saw the commotion going on.

“Guys, what is going on here?” confused Gobo.

“Well Gobo, you will not believe what that Chinese mean boy did to us!” said Jackson.

“What did he do?” asked Gobo.

“First of all, he literally barged in and called me pizza face; which is not appropriate for him to call people weird names!” said Jackson.

“Second, he interrupted our conversations while he was teasing us!” said Bradley.

“And finally, we had to tell him to stay away from us while we were hanging out!  But, he didn’t listen at all!” said Jacob.

“I wasn’t bothering you!  I just wanna join in and play with you!” taunted Evan.

Bradley and Jacob began to yell and became mad at Evan.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, EVAN!  YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY DROWNING US OUT ALREADY!” yelled Jacob.

“GET OUT RIGHT NOW BEFORE WE CALL THE POLICE ON YOU!” yelled Bradley.

“NO!  I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU BOYS ALONE!  WIN OR LOSE!  GAME TIME!  ROAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!” teased Evan.

“Please Evan!  Leave us alone!” annoyed Jackson.

“I don’t think so…loser!” teased Evan.

Gobo stood up for himself to talk to Evan while he put his hand on Jackson’s shoulder to protect him.

“Stop it!  Please leave my best friend alone!  He doesn’t like it when you call him weird names!  I want you to stay away from my friend while I protect him!” pissed Gobo.

“Alright!  I’ll leave your friend alone!  If…we battle our team!” taunted Evan.

Evan walked away from Jackson, Gobo, Bradley, and Jacob while he did an evil laugh.

“Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!” laughed Evan.

“Are you guys okay?” asked Gobo.

“Yeah!  We’re totally fine, Gobo!” said Jackson.

“That Chinese kid was a bully and being selfish!” said Bradley.

“Honestly, he doesn’t know how to act appropriately and respect his…boundaries!” said Jacob.

Then, the gym coach blew his whistle for the game to start.

“Oh, our game is starting!  Are you boys ready?” asked Jackson.

“Heck yeah!  We’re ready!” squealed Gobo.

“Me too!” beamed Bradley.

“Me three!” beamed Jacob.

“Alright then!  Let’s get this game started!” cheered Jackson.

“Woohoo!” whooped Jackson, Gobo, Bradley, and Jacob.

Jackson, Gobo, Bradley, Jacob, and the rest of their team start the basketball game while the crowd cheered for them.  Jackson shot the basketball into the hoop and scored some points while Gobo, Bradley, and Jacob cheered for him.

“Whoopie!  Nice shot Jackson!” cheered Gobo.

“Way to go Jackson!” cheered Bradley.

“You’re the best Jackson!” cheered Jacob.

“Thank you!  It’s your turn, Gobo!” smiled Jackson.

“Right on!” said Gobo.

Gobo shot the basketball into the hoop and scored some points while Jackson, Bradley, and Jacob cheered for him.

“Woohoo!  Good job Gobo!” cheered Jackson.

“Amazing shot!” cheered Bradley and Jacob.

“Thanks!” grinned Gobo.

Then, Bradley and Jacob took turns dribbling the basketball and shooting it into the hoop by scoring some points while Jackson and Gobo cheered for them.

“Alright!” cheered Gobo.

“Woo!” cheered Jackson.

“Hey, what if we all take turns shooting the ball into the hoop while we score more points!” said Bradley.

“That way, we could all win prizes for winning the game!” said Jacob.

“Hey!  That’s a great idea!” said Gobo.

“Maybe after the game, we would like to exchange our phone numbers and plan our time/schedule to…” paused Jackson.

Suddenly, Jackson got hit in his forehead with the basketball and passed out on the floor right in front of Gobo, Bradley, Jacob, their team, and the crowd during the game.  The gym coach blew his whistle for the timeout.

“Timeout!” announced the announcer.

Gobo rushed over to check on Jackson while Evan laughed/made fun of him.

“Omg!  What happened to you?  Did you fall and break something?” teased Evan.

Evan kept laughing and walking away from Jackson while Bradley and Jacob stopped him.

“Not so fast, Evan!  What the heck do you think you are doing?” frustrated Bradley.

“We told you to stay away from us while we’re spending time together during our game!” stressed Jacob.

“I did stay away from you!  You see, I was just keeping an eye out for that Jackson kid that a purple-haired boy Fraggle was checking on him!  Duh!” teased Evan.

Bradley and Jacob became mad/upset at Evan.

“You know what, we are so sick/tired of you causing a bunch of trouble to us and making fun of our new friend (Jackson)!” pissed Bradley.

“Whatever!  I don’t need any advice from you!  Blockhead!” teased Evan.

“Alright that’s it!  We are calling the police to arrest you!” agitated Jacob.

Bradley and Jacob used their phones to call the police to arrest Evan for bullying/making fun of Jackson.

“NO…PLEASE!” cried Evan.

Jackson woke up and became conscious while Gobo checked on him.

“Huh!  What happened?  Where was I?” confused Jackson.

“Ugh!  Thank goodness you’re awake!  Are you okay?” worried Gobo.

“I think I’m fine, Gobo!  I might have gotten hit by the basketball and almost passed out during our game!” said Jackson.

Jackson started sweating while Gobo touched his forehead.

“Oh my gosh!  You’re sweating!  How did that happen?” shocked Gobo.

“I don’t know!  It’s because…I uhm…” stammered Jackson.

Then, Bradley and Jacob rushed over to check on Jackson after they called the police to arrest Evan.

“There you are!  Are you alright?” worried Jacob.

“We were looking for you two!” worried Bradley.

“Oh…hi Jacob and Bradley!  Where were you guys?” asked Jackson.

“Is everything okay?” asked Gobo.

“Well, we had to call the police for them to arrest…Evan!” said Bradley.

“Then what happened?” asked Jackson.

“So, we got really mad/upset at Evan for causing a bunch of trouble to us!” said Bradley.

“Other than that, the police came here to arrest Evan and took him to jail for a very long time until he learned his boundaries!” said Jacob.

“Jeez!  That’s terrible!” said Gobo.

Jackson felt dizzy/tired.  “Oh jeepers!  I don’t feel well!  Gobo?”

“Yes Jackson?” asked Gobo.

“Can I ask you a question?” asked Jackson.

“Sure!  What’s your question?” asked Gobo.

“Do you know how to drive?” asked Jackson.

“Sort of!” said Gobo.

“Oh…okay!  Is it possible if you can drive me to the ER to have the doctors check on me?” asked Jackson.

“Well uhm…I will try my best to drive your car and take you to the ER for the doctors to check on you!” said Gobo.

“Gee!  Thanks a lot, Gobo!  That’ll be very helpful to me!” said Jackson.

“Wait a second!  You know how to drive?” asked Jacob.

“You know, my buddy (Jackson) is a really great driver though!” said Gobo.

“So now, Gobo will try his best to drive my car while he takes me to the ER since I’m not well enough to drive while I’m sick/having dizziness going on!” said Jackson.

“Golly, that’ll be nice of you to take care of your best friend (Jackson)!” said Bradley.

“Don’t mind if I do!” smiled Jackson.

Gobo used his phone to call the doctors for Jackson before taking him to the ER.

Story 3: Emergency Room

After Gobo drove Jackson to the ER in Jackson’s car, Jackson sat down on the hospital chair while the doctor checked on him.  Gobo sat down on the chair to see what’s going on with Jackson.

“How did you pass out at the basketball game so quickly?” asked the doctor.

“You know doctor!  I had a lot of explanations to talk to you about what happened at the basketball game!” said Jackson.

“Okay?  Do you have any explanation to talk to me about?” asked the doctor.

“Well, my buddy (Gobo) and I went to the basketball game to meet some new friends and play basketball!” said Jackson.

“Those two new friends were so nice/friendly and struck conversations with us at the basketball game!” said Gobo.

“Gee!  I didn’t know you found two new friends at the basketball game!  That’s awesome to hear!” said the doctor.

“Uh huh!  Other than that, I literally got hit in the face with the basketball and passed out on the floor during the game!” said Jackson.

“So, I had to check on Jackson while those guys had to deal with a mean Chinese boy after causing lots of trouble to us!” said Gobo.

“Jeepers!  That’s not good!” said the doctor.

“I became pretty dizzy/tired after I sweated big time from passing out!” said Jackson.

“Aw!  I’m sorry to hear that!” said the doctor.

“That’s okay!” said Jackson.

“Hey doctor, quick question!  Is there anything I could do to make my buddy (Jackson) feel better without passing out?” asked Gobo.

“That is a good question!  I think that’ll be very nice of you to take care of your friend while he’s sick/not feeling well!  You could offer him a glass of ice water, a dizziness medicine, and a warm sack to prevent himself from passing out!” said the doctor.

“I can do that!” said Gobo.

“You’re gonna take care of me while I’m sick?  That’ll be nice of you, Gobo!” smiled Jackson.

“Gee!  Thanks!” said Gobo.

“Anyhow, I better go and take care of the other patients!  You can call me anytime if something happens to your friend!” said the doctor.

“Yeah!  He knows what to do!” said Jackson.

“Alright then!  Goodbye then!” said the doctor.

“Goodbye!” said Gobo.

“Bye then!” said Jackson.

The doctor left to take care of other patients.

“Okay Jackson!  Let’s head back home for you to rest while I take care of you!” said Gobo.

“Perfect Gobo!  Let’s go then!” said Jackson.

Story 4: Home

Back at home after the ER, Jackson took a rest on his bed while Gobo took good care of him by offering him a glass of ice water to drink/took some dizziness medicine and put a warm sack on Jackson to make himself feel better while Robbie fell fast asleep on his cat bed.  They wore their pajamas for bedtime.

“How do you feel now?” asked Gobo.

“Well, the dizziness medicine/a glass of ice water/warm sack helps me feel a lot better without passing out!” said Jackson.

Jackson took a couple sips of ice water while he set his glass on the counter.

“Man, I don’t feel dizzy at all!” said Jackson.

“That’s wonderful!!  I’ll take good care of you tomorrow by cooking baked velveeta mac and cheese with cauliflower and popcorn shrimp for our lunch and making a cup of lemon hot tea for you to feel better!” said Gobo.

“Gee!  That’ll be very nice of you, Gobo!  I’m looking forward to having the baked velveeta mac and cheese with cauliflower and popcorn shrimp to cook for our lunch tomorrow!” said Jackson.

“I bet you are!  After lunch, we could relax in the living room to watch TV!” said Gobo.

“We sure can!” said Jackson.

Robbie was still fast asleep while he snored softly.  Jackson kept sipping his glass of ice water to prevent himself from passing out/feeling dizzy while he set it on the counter.  Gobo climbed onto his bed while he pulled his blanket.

“Boy, I’m ready for bed!” said Gobo.

“Yeah me too!  I just wanna say that I’m sorry that we had to leave the basketball game early and head to the ER right away after passing out!” said Jackson.

“No worries!  In fact, I became confident driving your car while you’re dizzy/not feeling well!  Except, I almost crashed the stop sign with your car by accident while driving back home!” said Gobo.

“Oh that’s okay!  It’s no big deal!  I’m sure the stop sign seems fine while it’s not damaged!” said Jackson.

Gobo began to yawn.  “Goodnight Jackson!”

“Goodnight Gobo!  I love you!” yawned Jackson.

“Love you too!” yawned Gobo.

Jackson and Gobo fell fast asleep on their beds while they snuggled with their stuffed animals.  They enjoyed going to the basketball game!  The End!
