Story 1: The plane
Jackson and Gobo were so excited to travel to Rapid City on their boys’ trip. They’ll meet their old friend (Luca) at the Rapid City Airport and spend 4 nights at his condo. Luca will drive them around some attractions in Rapid City in his car. Jackson and Gobo were on the plane flying to Rapid City while their bags were on the top shelf. Gobo leaned his head on Jackson’s shoulder while Jackson hung his arm around him.
“Boy, I’m so excited for our boys’ trip to see our old friend (Luca) in Rapid City, Gobo!” said Jackson.
“Me too Jackson! I can’t wait to spend time with our old friend (Luca)!” said Gobo.
“Me either! We’ll stay 4 nights at Luca’s condo!” said Jackson.
“Wait a minute! Luca has a condo in Rapid City?” asked Gobo.
“Yup! He lives with his roommates inside his condo! So now, they’re living at home with their parents!” said Jackson.
“It’s interesting that Luca has a condo in Rapid City!” said Gobo.
“Sure does! Over there, Luca has his own bedroom/bathroom upstairs, 2 bedrooms/bathroom downstairs, a kitchen/dining room, and a TV room!” said Jackson.
“Does that mean we get to pick out our own bedrooms to set our clothes inside our shelf and toiletries inside our bathrooms?” asked Gobo.
“Uh huh! We both can pick any bedrooms to sleep in! Except, Luca will be in his own bedroom upstairs!” said Jackson.
“Perfect! I’m looking forward to checking out Luca’s condo!” said Gobo.
“Yeah me too! Luca said he is going to take us to the Bison Burger restaurant tonight for dinner!” said Jackson.
“Really? How cool! I’ll have to try a Bison Burger in Rapid City!” said Gobo.
“Same too! Bam, what!” beamed Jackson.
Then, Gobo’s phone rang while he got a call from Luca.
“Hey, Luca is calling me! I’ll answer him real quick!” said Gobo.
“Okay Gobo!” said Jackson.
Gobo answered the call from Luca by talking quietly on his phone.
“Hello!” greeted Gobo.
“Hi Gobo! Are you on the way to the Rapid City Airport?” asked Luca.
“Hi Luca! We’re about uhm…Jackson, how far are we to meet Luca at the Rapid City Airport?” asked Gobo.
Jackson looked at the hours on his watch.
“5 minutes away!” said Jackson.
“Gotcha! We’re 5 minutes away to meet you at the Rapid City Airport!” said Gobo.
“Perfect! Just text me when you and Jackson are landing so I can meet you two at the Rapid City Airport!” said Luca.
“Okay! I’ll see you then!” said Gobo.
“See you!” said Luca.
Gobo hung up his phone from Luca.
“Luca said he will meet us at the Rapid City Airport when we’re landing!” said Gobo.
“Terrific! When we land at the Rapid City Airport, we’ll ask Luca to help carry our bags inside his car trunk when we get inside his car before he drives us to his condo!” said Jackson.
“Sounds like a plan!” said Gobo.
Story 2: Rapid City Airport
When they got to the Rapid City Airport, Jackson and Gobo carried their bags while they greeted Luca.
“Hi Gobo and Jackson!” greeted Luca.
“Hi Luca!” greeted Jackson.
“Hey Luca!” greeted Gobo.
Jackson, Gobo, and Luca gave each other hugs after the greetings.
“How are you boys doing today?” asked Luca.
“We’re doing pretty good!” said Gobo.
“Gobo and I were looking forward to checking out your condo and going places with you in Rapid City!” said Jackson.
“I bet you guys are!” said Luca.
Jackson and Gobo handed out their gifts to Luca.
“By the way, we bought gifts for you!” said Jackson.
“You should take a look inside our gifts!” said Gobo.
“I can do that!” said Luca.
Luca took out some wrapping paper by throwing them in the trash. He took out some handmade pot-holders/scrubbies that he got from Jackson and Gobo.
“Wow! You bought me some handmade pot-holders/scrubbies? Thank you!” smiled Luca.
“You’re welcome Luca!” smiled Gobo.
“We made pot-holders and dish scrubbies for you!” smiled Jackson.
“Thanks! I’ll use my new pot-holders to hold the handle of the pot while cooking something and my new dish scrubbies to wash dishes inside my condo!” said Luca.
“I’m sure you will!” said Gobo.
“Say, is it okay if we take a selfie together before we carry our bags inside your car and drive to your condo?” asked Jackson.
“Yeah! Can we?” asked Gobo.
“Heck yeah! Let’s do it!” smiled Luca.
Jackson, Gobo, and Luca took a group selfie on Jackson’s phone.
“Alright! I’ll help carry your bags inside my car and then drive to my condo to help set up your clothes inside your bedrooms and toiletries inside your bathrooms!” said Luca.
“Let’s do it then!” smiled Jackson.
Luca helped Jackson and Gobo carry their bags to the parking lot to put inside Luca’s car trunk before driving to his condo.
Story 3: Luca’s condo in Rapid City
After settling inside Luca’s condo, Jackson and Gobo helped set their clothes on the shelf inside their bedrooms and their toiletries inside their bathrooms.
“So, what’s the plan for today?” asked Jackson.
“That’s a good question! I’ll drive you guys to the mall to shop around some stores and go out to a Bison Burger restaurant for dinner!” said Luca.
“Gee! That sounds like a plan! Actually, Gobo and I just talked about taking us out to dinner at a Bison Burger restaurant while we’re on the plane!” said Jackson.
“That’s interesting!” said Luca.
“Which shopping mall are we going to shop at?” asked Gobo.
“Well, I’ll use my phone to look up some shopping malls here in Rapid City!” said Luca.
“That’s a good idea!” said Gobo.
Luca used his phone to look up some Rapid City shopping malls on Google.
“How about we shop at Uptown Rapid! It is a big mall with lots of stores, food courts, and an arcade game room!” said Luca.
“That would be a cool mall to shop at!” said Jackson.
“Should we buy some souvenirs too?” asked Gobo.
“Of course you can! Let’s go!” said Luca.
Jackson, Gobo, and Luca left Luca’s condo, headed outside the garage, and hopped inside Luca’s car while Luca started the car engine with his car keys, pulled his car back outside of the garage, and drove to Uptown Rapid Mall.
Story 4: Uptown Rapid City shopping mall
At Uptown Rapid, Jackson, Gobo, and Luca walked around some stores from the mall to buy some souvenirs for each other.
“Gosh! That’s a big shopping mall!” said Gobo.
“Yup! Not that many people here; but it’s pretty quiet though!” said Jackson.
“I bet! Anyhow, what store shall we shop at?” asked Luca.
Jackson pointed out some clothing stores across the mall.
“How about we check out some clothing stores to buy some t-shirts for our souvenirs!” said Jackson.
“That sounds nice, Jackson! But, I don’t feel like checking out some clothing stores since I have so many clothes at our apartment in Akron!” said Gobo.
“Yeah I have a lot of clothes in our apartment too!” said Jackson.
“Yeah me three! Is there any other store you wanna shop at?” asked Luca.
“It’s your pick, Gobo! You decide what store we wanna shop at!” said Jackson.
Gobo pointed out a toy store across the mall.
“Is it okay if we shop at the toy store to buy some stuffed animals to sleep with and for me and Jackson to take home?” asked Gobo.
“Sure! We could shop at the toy store to buy some stuffed animals!” said Jackson.
“C’mon then!” said Luca.
Jackson, Gobo, and Luca headed to the toy store to buy some stuffed animals for their souvenirs.
Story 5: The toy store at Uptown Rapid
At the toy store, Jackson, Gobo, and Luca browsed around for some stuffed animals while they held their shopping bags. Gobo chose to buy a tiger stuffed animal. Jackson chose to buy a cat stuffed animal. Luca chose to buy a kangaroo stuffed animal.
“Alright! We got our stuffed animals inside our shopping bags!” said Luca.
“Terrific! Now, we just need to pay our stuffed animals to the clerk and then we’ll bring them with us to sleep for 4 nights at your condo!” said Jackson.
“Perfect! Are there any other stores we wanna shop at?” asked Gobo.
“Should we check out the arcade game room to play some arcade games?” asked Jackson.
“Yeah! Can we?” asked Gobo.
“You know, that sounds great! But I’m not interested in checking out the arcade game room to play some arcade games!” said Luca.
“That’s okay Luca! You could pick out another store to shop at before dinner!” said Jackson.
“Do you wanna check out Build A Bear Workshop before dinner?” asked Luca.
“Sure! We could go there!” said Gobo.
“Build A Bear Workshop sounds like a perfect shopping place to look at stuffed animals and doll clothes!” said Jackson.
“Well, let’s do it then!” said Luca.
The boys headed to the cashier to pay for their stuffed animals before heading to Build A Bear Workshop.
Story 6: Gold Bison Grill
After the mall shopping, Jackson, Gobo, and Luca were at the Gold Bison Grill pigging out on their Bison Burgers and Sweet Potato Puffs for dinner while they were striking conversations with each other.
“How are your Bison Burgers and Sweet Potato Puffs?” asked Luca.
“They were absolutely delish! Man, these Bison Burgers are the best!” smiled Jackson.
“They kinda taste like Bison meat!” grinned Gobo.
The boys kept eating their Bison Burgers and Sweet Potato Puffs while they were still striking conversations with each other.
“Anyhow, what’s the plan for tomorrow?” asked Jackson.
“Tomorrow, I’ll drive you guys to Mount Rushmore Park and we could all take photos of Mount Rushmore presidents!” said Luca.
“Gee! I have never been to Mount Rushmore Park! But I’m sure it’ll be fun!” said Jackson.
“What else are we doing after Mount Rushmore Park?” asked Gobo.
“After that, we’ll check out some restaurants to eat out for lunch in Rapid City and do some more shopping!” said Luca.
“That sounds like a plan! By the way, we brought some elbow noodle packets to cook the baked velveeta mac and cheese at your condo for tomorrow’s dinner!” said Jackson.
“That’s perfect! I can’t wait to cook mac and cheese with you guys tomorrow at my condo for dinner! It’ll be so much!” said Luca.
“I bet! Anyhow, I really enjoyed spending time with you in Rapid City, Luca!” said Gobo.
“Yeah me too! It was a ton of fun!” said Jackson.
“I’m glad you boys had a good time!” said Luca.
“We sure did!” smiled Jackson.
Jackson, Gobo, and Luca kept socializing/talking to each other while they were still eating their dinner. They enjoyed their trip to Rapid City! The End!
